River Mill can serve as a depositor for developers of Source Code Software to protect licensees (beneficiaries) in case the developer experiences a predetermined operating condition that puts the licensees' access to the software source in jeopardy. Such conditions as business exit, business bankruptcy and breach of maintenance obligations would trigger the release of the latest, updated copy of the software to the beneficiary in accordance with a signed agreement between the Developer, the Beneficiary and the Depositor (River Mill). This Three Way Agreement reduces the legal fees, paper work and other initialization costs associated with executing an escrow.

As the Escrow Agent, River Mill receives the software source code, stores the software in its cutting edge Firelock vault, accepts periodic updates, insures a secure storage environment and releases the software to the beneficiary if a trigger event occurs. This professional service can be performed as an adjunct to an existing media storage and rotation service or as a stand alone custom service.
