WE ARE UNABLE TO SET APPOINTMENTS
Depending on how much material a client has to be shredded determines how much time we spend at each stop. If a client has more material to be shredded than expected, we spend more time at that stop. This, in turn, pushes back the arrival time at all subsequent stops. If you have a time constraint, please notate above under Service Information and we can ask the driver to give you a call when he/she is on the way.
STAIRS/DRIVEWAYS/NO ENTRY
Under no circumstances will the driver retrieve material that involves stairs.
Our trucks are heavy enough to crack concrete driveways. If you have a concrete driveway which requires the driver to walk more than fifty (50) feet or is a steep incline, the driver may request that you bring your materials to the street for service.
Our employees are prohibited from entering residences. Please meet the driver at the door with your materials or have it in an accessible place such as a carport or garage.
ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS
Customer acknowledges that paper clips, rubber bands, manilla folders, and hanging file folders are acceptable to have intermixed with office paper.
PROHIBITED MATERIALS
The following items cannot be shredded: computer media*, glass, plastic, styrofoam, newspapers, 3-ring binders, cardboards, clothing, shoes, jumbo binder clips, garbage, plastic protectors/report covers, x-rays, microfilm/microfiche, electronics, batteries, fireworks, ammunition, chemicals, or any other substance considered to be flammable or explosive. Customer assumes responsibility for any damage to River Mill Data Management equipment caused by inclusion of any foreign or inappropriate materials for destruction.

*Computer media (Diskettes, CD/DVD's, backup tapes) can be accepted for NAID AAA-Certified shredding offsite. The charge for computer media is $0.75 per pound with a minimum charge of $75.00.
CANCELLATION
Customer is responsible for notifying River Mill Data Management before 4pm on the business day prior to the scheduled route by writing or emailing their intent to cancel. Failure to make proper notification will result in a $25 cancellation fee. Rescheduling the service will be at the discretion of River Mill Data Management.
The driver will call approximately one hour prior to arrival. If there is no answer, the driver will leave a message, if Customer has a voice mail and it is not full. Failure to return the drivers call within 30 minutes will be considered a cancellation.
PAYMENT
A credit card is required in order to schedule service. When we call to schedule, we will ask for your credit card information at that time. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We do not accept cash or personal checks. Your card will not be charged until after service has been performed.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Customer hereby authorizes River Mill Data Management, LLC to provide confidential document destruction services for the above location. In doing so, Customer acknowledges and accepts the Terms & Conditions above.
